What Makes God God?

If God is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient, what does he lack? Nothing. But therein lies the great paradox. If you are limitless, then you are lacking limit.

If you think about it, everything about our being is a hard limiter of sorts. We are practically blind at night compared to the Lions. Dogs can smell diseases before they manifest as ailments. Elephants can sense vibrations in the ground from over 60km, and that’s how they communicate with one another over long distances. Even our tongues and vocal cords limit the range and number of sounds we produce.

Our bodies are sieves that filter that reduce the infinite complexity of life into a narrow spectrum. In other words, we are part of a limitless ocean of reality, but it is not given to us to fathom the limitlessness of our true nature.

Then again, if God is limitless and we are limited, perhaps we are the embodiment of what God lacks. In other words, you are what makes God God. You are the beach that meets the ocean and creates the waves of life.

Shhhh… don’t tell anyone, but if you must use the buttons below.
