Obviously, in the beginning, we are not good at what we do. But that does not mean our ideas are bad. It’s more likely that our skills for expressing those ideas are not good.
Therefore, do not throw away the old ideas, unless they are actually bad ideas. Instead, focus more on mastering your craft; on becoming better at expressing ideas.
…that in itself will open up a world of great ideas.
